Being referred to people outside the network
Sunday, September 19th, 2010At Business Networking Link we encourage all members to promote other businesses to new potential clients and suppliers outside the network. With this in mind it is very important that you make a positive impression to those you meet at an event. Think about how you introduce yourself, think about the quality of your business card, remember to dress to impress, and finally keep notes of names / businesses that you meet… Why not invest in a pocket sized notepad specifically for networking events; keep notes so you can start follow up emails with ‘Hi David’ and not ‘Dear Sir’!
Our events are not about who has the biggest house, most expensive car or more popular brand… We want all who attend to meet as equals, listen and learn, ask questions, and build those all important friendships with similar minded business people. If you are based in the South of England, in business (or thinking about starting a business) and would like to find out more, then please contact us. By building / expanding a business and entrepreneurial network of people we believe all those involved will benefit.
